Incredible insightful piece on the delicate cobweb of connections that we shape and shape us. To put your work online is to invite people into your mindspace - reminds me of this other piece by Henrik (https://www.henrikkarlsson.xyz/p/search-query?utm_source=substack&curius=1523). To interact with friends is a request to help your own continuous becoming. Thanks for sharing rish, this has been one of my favorite reads this week!

Yes exactly, these digital portfolios and online publications are a great example of that invitation to your context.. Henrik loves digging into that topic lol.

So glad this resonated with you!

Incredibly written. Really like the idea of thievery and our preconceived notion that taking without someone knowing is _bad_ in most contexts except in social circles. If I were to tell my friends I picked up a hobby because of them they’d probably be happy, but maybe it’s best I just keep that hobby as my own now and the piece I share is now time with them! The courage and humility to acknowledge it is my life, albeit strongly influenced by others when I let it happen.

I love that distinction on the /transparency/ of thievery. Bc usually thieves are secretive, but in this case I'd love to give credit wherever and to whoever it's due. Without that credit, we'd actually be thieves - the jealous, zealous, envious kind.

I really enjoyed this read <3 We can't achieve greatness without our loving community. Also props to Timothee for that speech! it's inspiring and refreshing to hear people talk about their pursuit for greatness.

I think people enjoyed the tinge of innocence and humility in Timothee's speech -- it's what made him sound earnest in his pursuit, rather than egoistical. Thank u for reading!!

love trevor noah too and read "born a crime" back in 2018, I try hard not to forget giving credit to the people around me for their love and support, even though I might never stand on stage to receive any award. great reflection stuff rish.
